About Summer

Welcome! I'm Summer, and I am passionate about capturing all of life's great, beautiful, pint-sized, and even messy moments!

I was once told, "The best camera you could possibly have, is the one you have, IN THE MOMENT." ​Having two young kids, a pup that may as well be an additional toddler, and an attention seeking cat; that remark genuinely changed the way I viewed photography. Our experience working together will be exactly what that moment is in your life, captured genuinely and candidly. Don't worry, I know that camera's and posing and "where do I put my hands" can all be intimidating for many, so I am here to guide you as much or little as you want and need. I believe in capturing the natural beauty of everything minimizing the trendy artificial editing in post process.

When I am not behind the lens, I am busy enjoying every moment with my family. We can be found painting outside, baking our 3rd batch of "cupcakes" for the day, running around a park, traveling on our next  family adventure, or spending time with grandparents,  aunts, uncles, and cousins. I am a born and raised Texas girl that lived the beach life in California and the Southern life in Tennessee, but home is where my family is-Texas. While my initial career path as an Educator and Administrator was incredibly rewarding; I organically discovered my true passion of photography and love that I am able to now capture others moments as well, and I haven't put my camera down since!
